Jeff Hanlon, Division 3 Director and Secretary Treasurer of Three Valleys Municipal Water District, was elected in 2022 to represent Claremont and La Verne on the Board. He was endorsed and supported by the DCC in his victorious campaign against a long-seated incumbent.

Jeff holds a PhD in Public Administration and Policy from the University of Arizona, specializing in Water Policy and Governance. He is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Whittier College.

Director Hanlon will brief the Club on water-related bills currently moving through the state legislature, the current and projected summer water allocation for our region, the state of our district regarding water conservation efforts, and the proposed water infrastructure investment alternatives currently under consideration by the Three Valleys board.

Since 1953, we have been working to elect Democrats and support policies consistent with the ideals of the Democratic party. We meet the last Monday of every month for programs and discussions around policy priorities and candidates in local, state and national elections. Our meetings are social, and also provide an opportunity for learning and activism.

Joining the Democratic Club of Claremont puts you in the room to vote on key policy priorities, candidate endorsements and events to support Democrat policies and candidates. We are an all volunteer organization, so 100% of your dues and donations provide direct support to the club.
