Join us for our Monday, October 28, 2024 general membership meeting with our featured presenter, Mark Ramos, Chair of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party.  We'll begin 6:30 pm with a potluck.  Then our meeting begins 7:00 pm.

Mark Ramos's life exemplifies the power of community activism and Democratic values. Growing up in East LA’s Maravilla Projects, he learned advocacy from his mother, igniting his passion for community engagement. Starting as a grocery store clerk, he rose to lead UFCW Local 1428, advocating for workers' rights and community support. As President of the UFCW Western States Council, he coordinated political efforts across multiple states. Elected Chair of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party in 2024, he now represents over 3.1 million Democrats. Married for 36 years, Mark and his wife Margie have two union-member sons, Robert and Alex.
