When Syrian refugees came to our community nearly 8 years ago, Anne Thorward, current president of Newcomers Access Center (NAC) helped organize a formal way to assist newcomers. NAC now serves immigrants from 17 countries and 124 households. Learn more about NAC, their clients and how you may want to help.  Anne’s last career of nearly 25 years as a financial advisor closed a couple of years after she began working with refugees.
